The Long Return of Season 2: SAO

Aahh, SAO (or Sword Art Online for those who don't know). One of the many animes that people hated and people loved. It was a big debate whether it was good or bad. I for one loved it, be it the artwork, the story line, or the characters. From the many reviews I've seen, it seemed like it didn't deserve it's hype. But for me I had already know about it before the announcement for it's anime or the release of the first episode(cough...yeah I missed the release date and watched it the next day). So right from the get go I had already loved it as I had already started reading the book.

So a slight explanation for those who don't know:
Sword Art Online is about a virtual reality game created by Kayaba Akihiko in the year 2022 for the newly created Nerve Gear helmet to simulate the brain in to a virtual reality. In the story, one day suddenly the players can not log out of the game and they are trapped. They are informed by Kayaba Akihiko that they must get to the 100th floor in the game and defeat the final boss. The twist is that if they die in the game, they die in real life. We follow our protagonist, Kirito as he ventures on to reach the 100th floor, and meets friends and companions along the way.
And in the game their avatars end up becoming what they look like...so cute girls -> fat nerds(not being mean here, that's in the animations for some of the players).

And So the story continues on in Season 2.

Since some of you guys don't know about this, I am not going to spoil it for you. What I can say is that Sword Art Online is the anime series from a book, so it follows the storyline of it (book's by Kawahara Reki by the way). What I can say is that no, they aren't still trapped in the game, and for season 2 we still follow Kirito, or Kirigawa Kazuto(Kirito is but a username) but this time he is in another game with a new mission. So far I am enjoying the anime as it continues on, and I hope you guys can like it too.

My K-pop Appreciation

So from what we all have established  from now is that I like K-pop, and I guess Korean dramas too (coughcoughMyLoveFromAnotherStarcoughcough).

So my way of dedicating is of course lip syncing and singing really badly from time to time.

But my main dedication is learning the dances, as I do quite enjoy the dances they come out with. When I first started to want to dance and practise their dances, of course I didn't know what to do. So I started by watching dance tutorials. Now I rarely watch videos for dances...aside from really difficult ones. So I just did some random searching on Youtube, and I came upon a Kara dance tutorial. The song was Step by Kara performed and taught by ChunActive.
(Yeah, body wise...I ain't that good. As well as my dancing skills.)

Anyways, continue on. I experimented on many dances, having MVs, dance practises, and covers as my material of use. I experimented on Infinite songs, Miss A songs(still am) , Sistar songs(and still am), and T-ara songs. Nowadays I have been practising with Girl's day, Orange Caramel, Nine Muses and a few songs from artists/idols here and there. Some of you might question why I don't do many boy... dances (I guess I'll call them that), well 1. there aren't many I like and 2. I don't have as much energy or flexibility to do those moves nor enough speed. (technically #2 is an excuse but, eh). But like I said previously, I do still watch dance tutorials, like for Xia's Incredible(thanks DarrenTP).
Well dancing is good for the body, not that I do it for that, either way it's quite fun to know these dances. I hope to do more over the years... and not actually be embarrassed to show them to people. My goal is to be involved in a K-pop flash mob cause they seem fun. But first I'll have to find a group that's not in my area cause I'm not sure who likes K-pop around here as much as I do. Join me on my excruciating journey of learning dances.

Fashion: Skater Skirts

Sorry for not posting on Wednesday, I didn't have much too talk about regarding anime and manga
It was from being to lazy and having nothing prepared.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fashion
Yes, I am back for more talk about fashion. And yes its a Saturday but who cares. Either way sorry for a late post.

So for today's talk, I'll be featuring another piece of fashion that a lot of you might be familiar with to this day.

Skater Skirts
--------------------------------------------
Skater skirts give that swing vibe as it is made for that, and since it is a skirt it is quite suitable for the summer.
Ranging from many designs and materials, it is perfect to match with any kind of top.
Personally for me I would go for a toned top to give the skirt more attention, while the top still has intricate designs.

That is all I have for today, I see you guys next next week (as per the every other week schedule).

Roommate & My Bias

Hi guys, on track today

Since the last post where I said I'll post every other week, I'm pre-typing this right now.

The actual beginning -> Roommate

So recently I've been watching Roommate, the Korean reality show that features a cast living in a house together, hence the name.

Some info for those who don't know:
So a couple of people/stars have come to live together because of various reasons.
Loneliness, wanting to leave their parents, or wanting to meet different people.
The cast of Roommate includes:
Chanyeol from Exo(K)          Park Bom from 2NE1
Shin Sung Woo                     Hong Soo Hyun
Nana from After School/Orange Caramel
Jo Se Ho                                Seo Kang Joon
Lee Dong Wook                    Lee So Ra
Park Min Woo                       Song Ga Yeon

Since I have not been up to date with the recent episodes, I'm not too sure what has been going on.
I have only recent watched episode 6 and it has been great so far.
In episode 6, it was the episode of the Park couple, where Park Bom and Park Min Woo team up and pretend to act as a couple to trick the roommates. It was great how far they went to trick everyone by wearing matching sweater and socks, couple rings, hats, phone cases, and calling each other on purpose. If you want to know more go watch Roommate, I recommend it.

Part 2 -> My Bias

So mentioned previously in a K-pop post, I said that U-kiss was my bias.

Well that is true. When I re-watched the mash-up, the group caught my eye, with the two music videos in the mash-up, Binguel Binguel and Man Man Ha Ni.

They caught my eye with the eye make-up
and the futuristic concept from the background.
And my number one bias from U-Kiss is
KEVIN.(I know, typical)   KISSME4LIFE

(In the picture, member AJ is missing as he
away studying in Columbia University.) >

Fashion...ish

I'm not to sure what to right about this time

I mean I do love fashion but I don't really have anything to show you guys
(well I mean there is still now one as I am like one of those people who start a blog for fun thinking people will actually like it when there are a bunch of people who are the same trying to do the same thing bla bla bla, bla bla bla, bla bla.............................)

You get the point.

Since I'm not really a beauty guru I can't talk much about makeup, but I can talk about fashion a bit.
Now fashion trends are very common around many shops, ranging a couple of styles that fit an age range.
I for one, don't quite like them. Since I come from up north, the weather is...still cold day to day.
Actually the weather is quite nice ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. But getting back on point I have not been a fan of the crop tops, short shorts to high waisted, and rompers. I also haven't been liking the cut out clothes, with intricate side to back cutouts, or the open backs.
For this post I'll be talking about the pieces of clothing I have been loving this summer.

1. Suspender shorts

Suspender shorts can look super adorable, or super sexy

something similar in trend now are overalls, but to me I don't quite like them
This piece of clothing gives  simple shorts some more character without a new pattern or detail or getting suspenders.
They are great during the summer as they are shorts and can keep you warm if you wear tights underneath.

2. Kimonos

To you fans of japanese culture you must love these(some of you)
-not to be confused with yukatas
^SUMMER KIMONOS^

Kimonos may be in trend, but for me there is
somethings I don't quite like.
Since I do quite like the japanese culture, I would like my kimonos to have similar designs to original ones. Fringes are not for me so I rather have a basic kimono, replicating real kimonos
One day I'll get a real kimono, one day...

Sorry I was late on the post, I got really tired by the end of friday.
i don't have much to talk about but at least it was something.
I'll see you guys next time.
stay tuned.

Sorry...(Double Posts)

Sorry... I was busy

Hey guys I did say I was going to post on monday but I was busy with friends and dinner outside.

Since I don't want to delay you guys I'm just going to get on with it.
This might be cut short since I'm doing a double post. So let's get on with it

K-POP: An intro to my favourites

Since you guys don't really know me I thought of telling a small story to how I came to love k-pop and some favourites.
Story: So it was during the summer(August) of 2012 when I looked back at this mash-up by DJ Masa. I wasn't sure about k-pop at that time but since it was a mash-up I decided to look up the songs he used in his mash-up.

< After looking through all the songs(most of them) I came to love a couple of groups.

- U-kiss being my No. 1
- Sistar catching my interest
- 2NE1/Big Bang/SNSD/Suju still being awesome as I remembered them from the past
- And many other groups that I now know to date

Ps. I loved k-pop before Psy's Gangnam style came out

Manga: My taste and artwork

Being a fan of japanese entertainment, more to the point, japanese artwork and stories there can be many different tastes of style. So For this post I will give you A small description of my taste in manga
Genre
  • Romance(typical)
  • Shoujo
  • School life
  • Fantasy
  • Sci-fi
  • One-shot(sometimes)

Author/Artist These people are people who I have read from many times who I can put my trust in to say they are awesome
  • Tooyama Ema
  • Hiiragi Mashiro
  • Kamiya Yuu
  • Kawahara Reki
  • Aikawa Saki
  • Kayoru
  • Yagami Rina
These lists may not be everything as I don't quite remember everything thing I love but I am sure about these ones.

-UNCOMPLETED-

< Since this is about manga I decided to add something I drew before. This is an older photo compared to how it looks now but not much changed.

Since I was unable to do a post on monday I am unsure if I can post on Friday. I will try my best to. If not I may decide not to post one on Friday but I will continue on the following  posts for the following days.

See you next time
